Our Software Factory Philosophy
Despite being a CMMI Level 5 certified Software Company, we took a step back a few years ago and decided to retool our factory for the new era of cloud startups and disruption. We embraced the Agile methodology and used it to build a faster-to-market development process that was also more customer centric. Embracing the cloud and microservices came naturally to us with these methodologies and Strateq benefited from the newer technology and capabilities on the cloud.
Our technical personnel are the drivers of our 600-strong international workforce. More than a 100 engineers from this core group provide the expertise to build the software produced by Strateq.
A campaign was launched in late 2016 to train a team of 100 elite DevOps on AWS certified professionals to help migrate all our solutions and technology to AWS.
We will recruit 30 of the finest candidates in the country and further train another 70 selected from our team to establish this elite division.

Preferably AWS certified. Experience with VMware, Docker and Software defined networking is necessary. Attitude and a hunger to grow and learn is critical.
30 DevOps
Preferably AWS certified. Experience with agile development with python, java, php is necessary. Attitude and a hunger to grow and learn is critical.
Participation in this programme confers eligibility to be a part of our elite “My Software Factory” campaign. It is accessible to all candidates who can pass our assessment and be certified by AWS as a DevOps Professional. The designation “My Software Factory” denotes a sense of patriotism and pride which the group feels; that Malaysia can indeed produce software that can compete on the global stage, and that stage is built on AWS. AWS has democratised cutting edge technology such as IOT, BDA and even Machine Learning, making innovation easier and quicker. Strateq strives to recruit and continuously supplement this team to enable it to undertake more DevOps transformation engagements for its customers.
